About this conversion
SVG is a vector graphics format that scales to any size without losing quality — ideal for logos, icons, and diagrams. WebP uses light compression, so the result won't be a pixel-for-pixel copy of the SVG.
Common questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Will converting to WebP reduce quality?
WebP uses light compression that makes a small change to pixel values. At the default quality setting the difference is usually invisible, but it is not pixel-for-pixel identical to the original. You can raise the quality slider to reduce the change, at the cost of a larger file.
Also consider: For even smaller files, AVIF compresses further than WebP and works in all current browsers — encoding is slower, but the quality-to-size ratio is better.
